Nepal-Switzerland Relations

Nepal-Switzerland relations have grown and widened over the years since the establishment of diplomatic relations on November 10, 1959. The two countries enjoy long-standing, close and friendly relationship. Switzerland is one of the oldest development partners of Nepal, which remains a priority country for Swiss Development Cooperation. Besides, Switzerland is an important export market for Nepalese products. There is a strong bond of people-to-people relationship nurtured by common feeling of geographical similarities.
